Winston Churchill
Winston Churchill was born on November 30, 1874. He was Prime Minister of Great Britain throughout most of the war. Winston with his motivating speeches led Britain to victory. He brought them through the dark ages of that time.

Joseph Stalin
Joseph Stalin was a very dangerous and brutal communist dictator. In a wave of political power Joseph imprisoned and killed lots of Russians and their senior military officers before WWII.

Franklin D. Roosevelt
Roosevelt was president of America through most of WWII. After the bombing of Pearl Harbor he declared war on Japan and its allies. He did not live long enough to witness the victory during 1945.

Harry Truman
Truman was president at the end of the war. He succeeded President Roosevelt when he died. President Truman had to make the hard decision of whether or not to drop the bomb on Japan. He decided it was the best thing to do to drop the atomic bombs because it would save many Allied lives but I don't know if he thought of this but it will kill many more lives and their death will be on his hands.

Adolf Hitler
Adolf Hitler was the leader of the group called the Nazis. He viewed the world as if under his control and he had free reign. Hitler believed that Jews were not pure enough to live so it was his job to kill them. Adolf Hitler started the mass killing now known as the holocaust. Adolf killed himself on April 30, 1945.

Benito Mussolini
Mussolini was an Italian dictator who believed in fascism. He wanted to create a nation of warriors so he had an interest in the children of Italy. Benito had the unfortunate fate to be executed after trying to escape from jail in 1945.

Hideki Tojo
Tojo was a prime minister during this time. He used to be a war general but after the military took over Japan he became prime minister. Hideki was a cruel dictator that ruled with fear.
